Hartz Catahoulas is a small Catahoula breeder in Northern California. We pride ourselves on raising family Catahoulas with working abilities that are proven. All of our dogs are either working dogs or live in our home.

We do not breed for colorings, marking or eye color. We breed for personality, and working ability. Most of our Catahoulas are dark with brindle points and brown eyes.

We only have about 2 litters a year, so reserve your pup soon if you want one of these awesome dogs. When we do have Catahoula puppies available, we have a Puppy Cam for your viewing pleasure.

All of our Catahoulas are registered with the NALC and we are a registered NALC breeder since 2006. While these Catahoulas are new to our family we are not new to dogs. We currently have 4 Catahoulas, 1 German Shepherd and 1 Boerboel. Come see our family!

We have been raising, breeding and training dogs for over 15 years and have extensive experience in the more dominant breeds. On our website you will find a wealth of information on training, dog psychology and pack structure. We are also a RAW feeder. All of our dogs are fed an all natural raw diet.
